The SCWA Online Auction is open until December 8, 2023 for wine lovers to bid and make a difference in Sonoma County from anywhere in the world! Treat yourself or a special person to curated wine tasting experiences, exclusive vintner dinners, spectacular behind-the-scenes vineyard tours and tastings, amazing Sonoma County wine collections, and more. Proceeds will benefit our Sonoma County Vintners Foundation (SCVF) annual Community Grants program and Emergency Relief Fund.

SCWA Online Auction bidders must be over 21 years of age. Winning bids for auction lots and Fund-A-Need donations will be charged to the credit card on file, following the close of the SCWA Online Auction on Friday, December 8, 2023. Wine and merchandise in Online Auction Lots are subject to sales tax.
Sonoma County Vintners Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization operating as a public charity. Tax ID No. 68-0175790. Please consult your tax advisor regarding the deductibility of your contribution.
Be sure to include your cell phone number when you set up your account, so you receive easy access to your personal bidding link, and timely messages if you’ve been outbid.
Once you have set up your account, you will receive a personal bidding link via our online Greater Giving platform. Please don’t share this link with others, unless you wish to give them access to bid on your behalf.
Bidding online is easy!When you find a package you like, you can place a bid, bid more than the next increment or just buy it now.
You can also set a Max Bid, and let Greater Giving do the bidding for you. (Greater Giving will only place another bid if you have been outbid, using the next bid increment).

During the SCWA Online Auction, you’ll also have the opportunity to donate to the 2023 Sonoma County Wine Auction Fund-A-Need via the Greater Giving platform, which is hosting our online auction. Similar to the Fund-A-Need paddle raise at our live auction events, online donations designated for this program will continue to provide impactful assistance for children’s education and literacy, while also addressing new challenges our county faces.

Sonoma County Vintners Foundation (SCVF) is pleased to announce that its annual Sonoma County Wine Auction (SCWA) has raised over $1.3 million. These proceeds will fund next year’s SCVF Community Grants for nonprofit organizations in the areas of education & literacy, health & human services, the environment, and arts & culture as well as the Emergency Relief Fund. The 2023 SCWA was held at the breathtaking La Crema Estate at Saralee’s Vineyard on September 16, 2023. Since the auction’s inception more than $41 million has been raised, directly benefiting Sonoma County community members in need.

Sonoma County Vintners Foundation (#SCVF) is proud to announce they have activated their Emergency Relief Fund to support the needs of vineyard and agriculture workers, and those in our communities who have been impacted by recent storms and flooding. SCVF has donated $50,000 to Community Action Partnership Sonoma County (@capsonomaofficial) and their Sonoma County Organizations Assisting in Disasters (COAD) Program. A check presentation ceremony was held on April 13 at the CAP offices.
In addition, SCVF is also partnering with @cfsonomacounty Community Foundation Sonoma County (CFSC) to expand relief to more members of the local community. The Community Foundation is donating $100,000 to @srcharities Catholic Charities to provide disaster case management and financial assistance.

James Hall and Anne Moses, founders of @patzhall are the 2023 SCWA Honorary Chairs. Stuart Bryan and @pride_wines are this year’s SCWA Vintner Honorees. Duskie Estes, chef, farmer, rancher, co-owner of @blackpigmeat_co and Executive Director of @farmtopantry, is the SCWA Chef Honoree.
The SCWA pre-auction events are planned for Thursday, September 14 through Friday, September 15. The auction will be held Saturday, September 16, at the stunning @lacremawines Estate at Saralee’s Vineyard. Event proceeds will benefit Sonoma County nonprofits. #TheProceedsMatter
