Along the way, you’ll stay in some of Gina’s favorite boutique hotels and private guest homes.

Your party of four will be flown in style, with business class tickets to Milan. Relax and acclimate to the new time zone as you enjoy the stunning architecture of this glamorous city. Your reserved rental car awaits when you’re ready to head for your first stop – beautiful Piedmont – where you’ll focus on Barolo with a personal tour from Pietro Ratti, principal of the iconic Italian producer Renato Ratti. This in-depth look at one of Italy’s most appreciated wine regions includes a private dinner with Pietro while sampling library vintages form his cellar.

The next day, meander through the northern Italian countryside to romantic Verona and spend the day strolling the storied streets of the Montagues and Capulets. On day four, you’ll be guests of the world-renowned Allegrini Winery CEO Marilisa Allegrini at her estate, Palazzo della Torre in Fumane, just north of Verona, where you’ll be taken on an in-depth winery and vineyard tour. In the evening, join Marilisa in the kitchen for an intimate cooking class before savoring the dinner you’ve prepared, perfectly paired with estate wines from the Allegrini cellar.

Enjoy the spectacular scenery as you drive from Verona south to the jewel of Tuscany – Florence. Whether your passion is Renaissance art or global fashion, you’ll be inspired by one of the world’s most beautiful cities. Next up is world-famous Montalcino, one of the world’s most important wine regions, to spend the day exploring Sangiovese with iconic Brunello di Montalcino producer Argiano. Tour the famous 16th century castle and taste some of the most remarkable wines in the world.
